I bought this clock about a year ago. It’s extremely bright, even on the dim setting, and I’ve resorted to using red cellophane to darken the display so that I can sleep! The alarm options are good but, again, the buzzer is REALLY loud.
This would be great if you’re hard of hearing or need a clear display, but overkill for most. I haven’t worked out why the designers think green illumination is such a good idea: it glares in the dark and doesn’t show up well in daylight. Ah well…

Not sure why the other guy only rated this alarm clock with one star?
We were looking for a new alarm clock and were tempted by DAB but found out that reception in our area was unlikely, so we thought we would just go for an analogue. We wanted a quality product with a large display. This item ticked all the boxes. The display can be dimmed if you find it too bright! Not a problem. don’t use the buzzer alarm as I prefer radio.
No need to set the time, as it does this by itself, and the battery (which lasts for a couple of years), means that if there is a power cut it all still works and there is no resetting of time and alarm times.
Not the best sound quality, but its only a bedside alarm clock! Its not for seriously listening to the radio.

I particularly like the massive display, compared with most clocks you can’t miss it!
The dual alarm feature is very useful too as I have to get up a good hour earlier so it’s good not to have to reset the alarm or have two alarm clocks!
The only slight issue is that there is only one light to say if the alarm is set or not and it’s illuminated even if one alarm is set. So you have to check the slider buttons to make sure which alarms are set, which negates the point of the light!

My husband bought me this alarm clock as a present. I have been dropping hints with my birthday coming up, and the fact that I needed a new alarm clock as the alarm button was faulty on the one I had. It was also 20+ years old so it had served me well.
This alarm is slimline in comparison to my old radio alarm clock. It has a clear display, I can’t say I have a problem with its brightness. It has a dimmer switch which I have set it on. It has a very good instruction manual with a step-by-step guide on how to do everything. When I plugged it in, it set the time and the date automatically, although the time was approximately 20 minutes out, but the date and month were accurate. It has two alarm settings, one I set for the school week and one I have set for the weekend. It has the facility to allow you to set the same time for Monday to Friday and a different time for the weekend. The buzzer is fine but I prefer to use the radio for the mornings as I am tuned in to our local radio station for our local news. It has FM/MW radio stations. I mainly use FM. The buttons for your settings are easy to use and it is a lovely silver colour with green numbering, a change from the red.
I would recommend this alarm and was impressed with my husband’s choice. I showed it to my mother who was impressed with the clear display and the overall style.
